Spirit Animals.

The subject of spirit animals has come up several times over the last few days. As we determined that George was an Otter, and Irene was most likely a Red Panda, I think it is pretty obvious what I am:

Well, there was a full moon the other day, and when I saw it I dreamed this up:

Silicon Carbide.

What it is:

"Silicon carbide (SiC) is a ceramic compound of silicon and carbon that is manufactured on a large scale for use mainly as an abrasive but also occurs in nature as the extremely rare mineral moissanite."

Why it is:

The Porsche Carrera GT's carbon-ceramic (silicon carbide) disc brake

Why it is important to me:

":stoptech will be offering carbon ceramic rotors in our current z stoptech kit
:sizes starting next year. For all 4 rotors, hats, and pads it'll be $9950 ... "

NOW ALL I NEED IS $10k AND I CAN HAVE THE MOST AWESOME BRAKES IN THE WORLD !!

Countdown to GT-R @ Tokyo Motor Show.

So the new GT-R is finally going to be OFFICIALLY unveiled, not the concept, not the prototype, but the ACTUAL FACTUAL model that will come out some time next year all around the world.

Finally a GT-R will be available in the states, and it will be awesome.

Heres the counters for the Tokyo, LA and Geneva debuts.

Conversation: Girl Gamers.

If anyone is in any way offended by this conversation, I am deeply sorry, this is by no means intended to be offensive in any way, I was just expressing my honest opinion.

[
CENSORED] (1:10:24 AM): dood, on [CENSORED] this post on girl gamers is pretty interesting
[CENSORED] (1:10:27 AM): i dunno
[CENSORED] (1:11:05 AM): 44% girls own consoles in comparison to 39% men
Z NO LMT (1:12:01 AM): hmm
Z NO LMT (1:12:03 AM): i dono ..
Z NO LMT (1:12:06 AM): how accurate that is
[CENSORED] (1:11:59 AM): true
[CENSORED] (1:12:11 AM): i noted that earlier when i realized that it was an internet survey
Z NO LMT (1:12:35 AM): true
Z NO LMT (1:12:38 AM): not a real survey
Z NO LMT (1:12:44 AM): very biased by the fact it's on the internet
[CENSORED] (1:12:40 AM): guys have a significantly higher rate of hardcore gaming though
[CENSORED] (1:12:55 AM): internet surveys are legit
[CENSORED] (1:13:17 AM): but one has to take into account that the people who are online tend to be more electronically inclined
Z NO LMT (1:13:37 AM): exactly
Z NO LMT (1:14:00 AM): i'msure there are a whopping number of technologically uninclined males who still have owned video games
Z NO LMT (1:14:05 AM): as compared to females
Z NO LMT (1:14:17 AM): who most likely have not
Z NO LMT (1:14:33 AM): not to mention, perhaps a lot of girls claim to have owned games because their brothers owned one
[CENSORED] (1:14:37 AM): i was wondering about that
[CENSORED] (1:14:46 AM): they didn't say how the survey questions were posed
Z NO LMT (1:15:07 AM): also, i feel like females havea greater tendency to fill out surveys then males
[CENSORED] (1:15:08 AM): yeah
[CENSORED] (1:15:12 AM): that's actually true
Z NO LMT (1:15:26 AM): exactly
[CENSORED] (1:15:20 AM): i learned that in social psych
Z NO LMT (1:15:34 AM): did you see a.. survey .. about that?
[CENSORED] (1:15:35 AM): no, i just read statistics on it
Z NO LMT (1:15:51 AM): oh ok
Z NO LMT (1:15:52 AM): yeah
Z NO LMT (1:15:54 AM): seems true
[CENSORED] (1:15:50 AM): the survey itself was meaningless
Z NO LMT (1:16:08 AM): exactly
Z NO LMT (1:16:23 AM): GUYS ARE TOO BUSY PLAYING VIDEO GAMES TO FILL OUT SURVEYS !!
[CENSORED] (1:16:21 AM): other than giving the researcher information on what women and men were more willing to do in regards to length and involvement for surveys
[CENSORED] (1:16:24 AM): lol
Z NO LMT (1:16:40 AM): while i wouldn't doubt a significant number of girls have Wii's and Nintendo DS's ..
[CENSORED] (1:16:43 AM): according to the [CENSORED] surveys girls should be busier playing video games
Z NO LMT (1:16:57 AM): just doubt that survey is accurate
Z NO LMT (1:17:02 AM): yeah
[CENSORED] (1:17:18 AM): actually
[CENSORED] (1:17:22 AM): that makes sense
[CENSORED] (1:17:44 AM): guys are probably too busy to playing video games to actually take a survey on playing video games
Z NO LMT (1:18:02 AM): exactly
[CENSORED] (1:17:54 AM): i meant too busy playing
[CENSORED] (1:18:31 AM): u should blog on that
[CENSORED] (1:18:33 AM): i might blog on it
Z NO LMT (1:19:19 AM): I'm to lazy to rewrite it
Z NO LMT (1:19:26 AM): so i think 'm just gonna copy and paste our conversation
[CENSORED] (1:19:20 AM): lol
Z NO LMT (1:19:38 AM): i'l blank out the names
[CENSORED] (1:19:35 AM): way to be lazy
Z NO LMT (1:19:51 AM): lol

Review: Superman Doomsday.

So, yesterday I watched Superman Doomsday, the animated movie adaptation of the graphic novel, Death of Superman, and as a long time superman fan, I personally am proud to say that it didn't totally suck.

While the voice acting of Adam Baldwin failed to amaze me, he wasn't the worst in the movie. The voice actress for Louis lane on the other hand totally sucked balls. And while most of the movie was incredibly cheesy, it retained the true epic value that makes Superman so wonderful.

The fight scenes were amazing, the story was pretty good, and Superman somehow always manages to save the day.

I couldn't help but notice how similar the story was to Dragonball Z's Buu saga. As Doomsday was hidden on earth by his own creator because he was too dangerous, he is finally set free thousands of years later and leaves a path of destruction wherever he goes. But who cares if the story is told before, that didn't change the fact that Doomsday totally crushed a guy's head in the palm of his frigg'n hand !!

I know there were changes from the original comic book, but they are understandable for time constraint purpose .. but still, the movie was a bit short at only 75 minutes.

Personally, I think this movie would have been much better off being live action. I would have much rather seen a live action version of Superman Doomsday than Superman Returns, which was good .. but strongly lacked in the story department. Honestly, by this day and age, I think we're all a bit sick of Lex Luthor waving Kryptonite in Superman's face then slapping him around. It's been done, time and time again.

All in all, I think Superman Doomsday was pretty damn good, not the best, but really not bad at all. It loses points in it's terrible voice acting, cheesyness, as well as in how short it was but makes up for most of it's cons with epic fight scenes.

I think I would have to give it ..

Libra.

I'm not a libra .. but it's Libra time, so any libras out there can enjoy a nice pic of Goku balancing Vegeta and Chi Chi on his shoulders .. At least until late October .. then it's Scorpio time.

It's just there for decoration, I don't really know anything about Zodiac stuff.

Blog-tastic.

I can no longer stand MySpace, so I spent the last few hours trying to find a suitable replacement for my blog.

I think I'll settle here for a while ..

I'll write more and customize this thing later, but now it's sleepy time.

Testing.
