Fire Alarm.

So halfway through "I Love New York 2", the fire alarm in my apartment building goes off .. and it's pretty damn loud. George was over, and Nikki and I both immediately freaked out. Not for our own safety, but we were trying to figure out how we could get the pigglies out safely in case the building really was on fire. We packed them up and the ringing probably traumatized them all. I initially stuck Genji in my sleeve, but then realized I had my Trogdor bag .. Anywho turned out someone just burnt their dinner and the fire department came for nothing, which was kindof annoying. I mean, an apology would have been nice .. but whatever, not a big deal. At least nobody got hurt.
I went outside to check the mail, and also to thank the fire people for coming so quickly .. thats when I saw just how seriously they take these things, even in the middle of the night. The whole damn fire department came .. pretty much at least. I counted 5 of the big fire trucks, taking up the whole street and going around both corners !! Pretty untensuru.

Anyways, I've been watching Meerkat Manor .. and Jesus Christ, that is the most depressing show ever. It is full of plot twists and the poor little Meerkats are always dieing in some seriously sad way. I can't stand how terribly sad it is, but it's so damn GOOD !!! It's really really interesting and fun, but fuck .. wild animals are some fucked up creatures.

Anywho, if you havn't noticed by now, I probably wouldn't be writing a blog right now if I wasn't putting off doing something else. And of course such is the case as of now. I am supposed to be writing a paper .. and I'm not, not that I don't want to .. My mind is just all jumbled up right now, and I needed some release.

I like the change in the weather .. warm weather makes me tired .. But the foggy overcast is very nostalgic and pleasant to me. I'm sure most people are miserable in this weather, but I love it. I guess it reminds me of being relaxed. I also love rainy days, but I also don't like them because driving in the rain does not equal fun ?? or does it ...

Genji is staying up with me. I didn't even ask him to, he just plopped down on his couch and told me he was gonna hang out with me as long as it took. I told him to go to sleep if he got bored, but he just said whatever, I don't think he's gonna last. Hero, Tosh and Shin already fell asleep. Genji is just doing whatever he can to stay awake at this point, I think 'mma just let him go to bed. Maybe I should too. I dono .. I have work to do ..

In other news, we made the boy pig cage even BIGGER .. now it's enormous. We had to because Genji and Hero were fighting a lot. Now that they have more space, they're getting along a lot better, as you can see.

Oh, and then there was that weird shit on craigslist the other day, but 'm too tired to write about that right now, maybe tomorrow.

Also, I got the 1st Death Note movie, gonna watch it tomo hopefully.

Midterms Redux.

I realized I hated my paper on the Spectacle, so I rewrote it. It only took me like half an hour, but I was about 50 words short of 1000 before I ran out of shit to say, so I figured I'd just end it there. I guess I'll go to sleep now and do my Japanese before class and my other essay before that class like I usually do on Thursdays.

Oh yeah .. and my Spectacle paper wasn't even really my midterm for Postmodernism, I have another paper due in a week or so .. a bigger harder one too .. HOW FUCKED UP IS THAT !??

Oh well, my intake and gauge rings should be coming any day now.

Street Fighter 4 Announced.

Over a decade after the original release of Street Fighter 3, Capcom has announced a 4th.

This is big big big news .. HUGE !! FINALLY A NEW STREET FIGHTER !!

I'm so excited !! I know it wont be out for a while, but it's going to be awesome !! AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE GAMEPLAY !!

Midterms.

Genji is thirsty, Shinji is funny looking, Hero is hiding and Toshi is fat.

Todays midterm wasn't so hard, but I studied a bit for it .. and I'm pretty good at essay questions, I knocked them out quickly. Seems like the rest of the class had a tough time with that midterm though. Not that it was particularly easy, just didn't think it was that hard. But I'm used to grinding out essays in a matter of minutes .. and there were only 3 on that test.

I think I did pretty well.

I didn't finish my paper for Postmodernism, mostly because I didn't finish White Noise and I wasn't 100% sure what I was supposed to write about. I guess I don't completely understand the idea of Society of the Spectacle .. I should read that book too. I guess I get the idea, just not comfortably enough to write about it. Hopefully my teacher wont get upset if I hand in my paper on Tuesday.

As for my Japanese midterm, ugh, I realized after-the-fact that I mixed up a few verbs and I probably did terribly. But at least I know I got all the Kanji right .. (except maybe top and bottom) .. and the reading and listening wasn't so bad.

Genji was really into I love New York 2 when we were watching it earlier, I think we both want Midget Mac to win .. or maybe it's because I can't remember anyone else's name.

Being a dork can be so much fun.

So I went to the Starwars Battlefront/Vader PSP Slim release event ..

Aside from waiting in line for 3 hours .. it was pretty frigg'n awesome !!

Joey had to leave before I got there, but I waited with Irene. At first it was boring, but then a bunch of storm troopers came marching out. That was fun, We took some pics with them, they posed, it was cool. After that some lame Jedi guys walked around but nobody was really interested. After we started to get bored again, Boba Fett came out !! Everyone got excited and Irene took a ton of pics .. it was pretty sweet.

I would say we waited another hour after bobafett showed up, before finally the music started .. But it was the wrong song.

THEN THEY PLAYED THE VADER THEME !!

And tons of storm troopers came out, then finally, Vader himself came out and in his hands was the VADER PSP !! it was so damn awesome, so epic, so dramatic !! Vader was a pretty massive guy, he had to be at least a head taller than me. As he walked past me I did the only thing I could think of and yelled out .. "HEY VADER !! HIGH FIVE !!" and I threw my hand up in the air and my hand met his .. yes, Vader and I engaged in a .. HIGH FIVE !!

Yeah .. I must say High Fiveing Vader was awesome, people got pics, Irene didn't get the pic, but it was a moment I will cherish forever .. hahahaha ..

Anywho, we FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY got inside, and once we did, we got to take the dorkiest pic ever in front of a green screen .. but before we got the pic taken, Irene yelled out "HEY BOBAFETT COME TAKE A PIC WITH US !!" and believe it or not, he came over and posed with us .. I got the Red light saber, Irene got the blaster, and Boba had his own blaster .. and .. well .. heres the pic ~

So yeah .. Irene got Joey his Vader PSP, with the Han Solo in Carbonite Case .. we got some free stickers, toys and posters on the way .. Very nerdy .. but very fun time.

Why I Can't Stand Mythbusters.

So today, Mythbusters revisited the speed camera myth, it started off OK, they even mentioned how Top Gear managed to beat a british speed camera.

First of all, they made the british speed camera sound inferior because it takes 2 pictures which is totally retarded of mythbusters, because on top gear the camera didn't take any pictures.

Anywho .. the Mythbuster solution was to get a ridiculous 300 mph drag car to beat a 200 mph rated camera .. they beat the camera at about 250 mph, but they still busted the myth because they said it was unrealistic.

Mythbusters, you suck and obviously don't know shit about cars.

There are many street legal cars that can go 200+ mph including;

Ferrari 599
Ferrari Enzo
Koenigsegg CCXR
Mercedes SLR McLaren
Porsche Carrera GT
McLaren F1
Lamborghini Murcielago
and of course the Bugatti Veyron

There are many others .. but even a Z06 Corvette can go 190+

.. and the Veyron goes over 250+ !!

So .. I'm just saying .. It's entirely realistic to imagine someone going over 200 mph in a fast car .. ISN'T THAT THE POINT OF GETTING A FAST CAR ??

Mythbusters didn't even touch on the topic of a tuned car ..

Top Secret's Skyline does 200+ mph on the Freeway ..

Oh yeah ..

So yeah .. Mythbusters can basically blow me.
